Job Title: Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Brigg
Salary: £44,000 – £45,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday rotating shifts mornings and afternoons, no weekends or nights

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This role is predominantly reactive maintenance, with additional involvement in PPM and project work and set‑ups/product changeovers. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines and contributing to continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime across production lines.
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to enhance equipment reliability.
* Support and deliver engineering projects aimed at process and efficiency improvements.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across the site’s advanced machinery.
* Work with robotics, casers, check weighers, fillers and conveyors, and other packaging equipment.
* Collaborate with the engineering team and other departments to ensure smooth production processes.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Key Requirements
* Time‑served or formally qualified in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi‑Skilled).
* Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG or similar fast‑paced environment.
* Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults effectively.
* Strong team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
* Willingness to develop skills further through training and upskilling opportunities.
