Are you an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk looking for your next role? Our client, a well-established business based in Derby, is seeking a motivated individual to join their finance team. Key Responsibilities:
* Managing sales invoicing and ensuring accuracy of entries
* Cash allocation and reconciling incoming payments
* Handling customer queries in a professional and timely manner
* Supporting with debt chasing minimal as most customers pay on time
* Carrying out credit checks on new customers using CreditSafe
* Collaborating with the wider finance team to maintain accurate ledgers
About You:
* Previous experience in a sales ledger/accounts receivable role
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident communicator with good problem-solving ability
* Experience with Xero would be highly desirable, but not essential
* Positive and proactive approach to working in a busy office environment
Benefits & Package:
1. Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
2. Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch)
3. Holidays: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
