Corporate Services Executive Officer We're currently recruiting for a Corporate Services Executive Officer on behalf of a respected public sector organisation based in Belfast. About the Organisation The organisation operates independently of government departments and public bodies, with a remit that includes investigating complaints of maladministration and promoting accountability and improvement in public services. It also holds statutory responsibilities in areas such as local government standards and judicial appointments oversight. The Role This is an initial position (37 hours per week), fully office-based in central Belfast. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Corporate Services function, contributing to areas such as: Finance : Assisting with purchase orders, invoice processing, and asset management. Facilities & Premises Management : Acting as the premises and Health & Safety Officer, liaising with contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety policies. Records Management : Coordinating secure disposal and retention of records. Procurement & IT Support : Maintaining contract databases, supporting procurement exercises, and assisting with IT queries. General Support : Contributing to staff inductions, business continuity planning, and event coordination. Essential Criteria Applicants must demonstrate at least three years' recent experience in: Providing administrative support in an office environment. Managing competing priorities under pressure. Communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders. Using Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) to extract and present information. Managing health and safety in an office setting. Supporting staff to ensure smooth office operations. Desirable Criteria While not essential, it would be advantageous to have: Experience in facilities management or finance systems. Public sector experience. Involvement in drafting briefing papers or policies. A qualification in health and safety.
