The Role:
As a Duty Solicitor, you will provide advice, assistance, and representation to clients who are subject to police investigations or have been arrested. You will be required to attend police stations and represent clients during the investigation and interview stages, ensuring their legal rights are upheld.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing 24/7 on-call police station representation.
2. Attending clients at the police station and providing advice under the Police Station Advice Scheme.
3. Preparing cases for court, including reviewing evidence and liaising with clients and experts.
