About Our Client
Our client is based in Winchester, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the accountancy team is looking for additional support.
Job Description
3. Manage and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
4. Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
5. Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
6. Assist in monitoring budgets and tracking expenses.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
9. Contribute to month-end and year-end financial close processes.
10. Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance team as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
12. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. A solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
15. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
16. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
