Job Overview
We are looking for an exceptional and dynamic person who has considerable experience at a senior level to provide effective leadership, staff management and a broad range of administrative assistance to a busy Pharmacy Services working across the Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust (LUHFT) sites.
As the leader of a friendly and forward-thinking administration team you will contribute to the high standard of work that we provide to the Pharmacy Department and support the department in maintaining its strong track record.
Key Responsibilities
The postholder will have the overall management of the administrative responsibilities of a busy Pharmacy Department, including:
* Management of information systems
* Allocation of administrative tasks
* Managing the annual leave for the admin and clerical team
* Managing the appraisal reviews and personal development plans
* Ensuring robust management of the sickness policy
* Overseeing all recruitment processes
This is a cross-site post between the LUHFT sites, and travel between interview sites will be required using the Trust’s inter-site transport.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate must be organised, highly experienced in meetings management and able to train others, develop and implement systems of work, and work to tight deadlines.
They must have a high level of competency with Microsoft computer packages, excellent interpersonal skills, and be methodical with attention to detail.
