The Role
Are you a creative and talented Head Pastry Chef looking for your next leadership role within a large pastry kitchen? The Grove is seeking an experienced Head Chef to work under the Executive Head Pastry Chef, overseeing operations and managing the team daily.
You will excel in a fast-paced environment, possess knowledge of classic culinary techniques, and be responsible for creating exceptional pastries and desserts using fresh ingredients, some sourced from our own Walled Garden. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation, you will deliver our pastry and dessert menu to the highest standards, including our luxury afternoon tea, decadent desserts for the Glasshouse Restaurant, seasonal showpieces, and banqueting desserts.
As a Head Chef, team management experience is essential, as you will lead eager junior chefs eager to learn from your expertise.
