Purpose of the role
In order to support our 2030 growth strategy, Lamington Group is seeking a dynamic, visionary and results-focused [Head of Commercial] to develop & spearhead our Commercial Strategy. The role will develop & deliver the commercial, revenue & distribution systems foundations for the business and lead our group revenue, distribution & reservations teams to personal & professional success. Depending on relevant experience, the role may also oversee our Group Sales function.
This pivotal leadership role will ensure Lamingtons brands outperform the market, deliver on budgeted targets, and build long-term value through sustainable revenue and margin growth. The role will join the Senior leadership team in assisting to guide the future direction of the business. Working across with the other senior leaders the role will assist in the employee engagement and development.

Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven leadership experience in a senior management hotel role in sales, marketing, revenue management, or commercial operations.
* Strong team leader keen to develop and nurture talent across the business
* Hotel or serviced apartment sales experience managing a high performing team
* In-depth knowledge of the UK hotel market, competitors, and market trends.
* Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, trends, and performance metrics.
* Strong understanding of revenue management, pricing strategies, and yield management to optimise room rates and revenue.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and brand recognition.
* Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and adapt to changing market conditions and respond effectively
* Familiarity with MEWS, Duetto and SalesForce preferred.
Pay range and compensation package
* Competitive salary up to £125,000 and discretionary bonus scheme.
