We’re hiring for an Auto-Electrician to join a forward-thinking engineering team based at a modern facility in Little Hulton. In this role you will play a crucial role in helping maintain the company's reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions. What’s on offer? * £33,000 - £35,000 per year * 37.5 hour week (day shifts) * 4-day week optional * 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * Employee pension scheme (matched up to 7.5%) * Company sick pay (75%) * Group life assurance policy * Employee assistance programme * Share incentive scheme * 14 weeks full pay parental leave * Cycle to work scheme What will you be doing as an Auto Electrician? * Installing wiring and electrical equipment, including inverters, roof lights, solar panels, beacons, water tanks, night heaters, and more * Fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing electrical malfunctions in older vehicles * Designing and adapting electrical systems based on customer specifications * Creating and fitting wiring looms and split charge systems * Supporting the joinery team with the fitting and installation of internal woodwork * Working closely with team members to ensure high standards and timely project completion What do you need? * Approved apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Auto Electrical Systems * Strong ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults within automotive systems * Proficient use of power tools, diagnostic meters, and hand tools * Solid understanding of electrical wiring principles and the ability to read schematic drawings Apply today or speak with Jack Lawrence at KPJ Group for more information between 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday.
