You'll be part of a small team, with both staff and volunteers enthused about sharing the site with visitors. Please be aware this is largely an outdoors role, and as you will be helping with the fleet of bikes, whether that's maintenance, repair or simply moving in and out and cleaning.Cycle routes on the wider reserve, and across the wider fenland, allow access through restored wetland, with opportunities for visitors to grasp the wider landscape as a place for wildlife and people alike. Day to day, you’ll be working with volunteers to make sure our bikes are safe and ready to be hired. You’ll be advising people on outdoor activities, whether which walking routes might best suit them, or promoting our boat trips, and generally making sure that everyone has all the information and guidance they need to enjoy their time outdoors.Your job is all about creating the best possible experience for everyone. You’ll chat to people to understand their needs and offer relevant advice, while also keeping an eye on safety and maintenance.
