We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Rotherham Alcohol and Drug Service (ROADS). In this role, you will provide expert medicine management to support clients on their recovery journey. If you're passionate about making a difference, we want to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
You will join a compassionate team committed to client safety and effective medication use. Your responsibilities include managing medicines, controlling and storing medicines and related stationary, and contributing to service development and staff education to ensure high-quality service provision.

Job responsibilities

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
Experience
* Evidence of continuous professional development
* At least 2 years post-qualification experience in a pharmacy setting
* Experience advising clients and carers on medication
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
* Knowledge of controlled drugs regulations
* Good organizational, communication, and IT skills
* Ability to work independently and recognize when to refer
* Willingness to travel to different locations
