Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support our Research and Development Department within a Clinical Research Environment. The successful candidate will assist in delivering high-quality research across various specialties, primarily supporting maternity studies, with potential involvement in other NIHR activities.
Location and Support
The role involves working at either Epsom or St Helier Hospital sites, with possible support across other disciplines within the Trust, depending on capacity and capability. The candidate should possess excellent organizational, IT, interpersonal skills, and a proactive attitude. Training will be provided to develop the necessary research principles.
Key Responsibilities
1. Research Data Management and Quality
2. Collect patient data from notes and electronic systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
3. Verify data validity, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data quality for analysis.
4. Meet reporting deadlines and liaise with multidisciplinary teams to address queries.
1. Patient Recruitment and Retention
2. Communicate with participants per trial protocols, booking and following up on research visits.
3. Support data monitoring and conduct telephone follow-ups to collect trial data.
4. Handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially.
5. Attend study setup, advertising, and reporting meetings.
6. Manage new and follow-up visits efficiently.
