We are currently recruiting for a Technical Admin Team Leader on a fixed-term contract to oversee the performance and day-to-day operations of the Technical Admin team based at our Cwmbran office. This role will work closely with the wider Technical team to ensure the highest standards of customer service and operational efficiency are consistently maintained.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead, motivate, and manage team performance by setting clear objectives and challenging goals, while mentoring and developing both direct and indirect reports.
* Ensure the team operates in line with regional and company objectives.
* Manage appraisals, Personal Development Plans (PDPs), and training activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Ensure all information within the NAV/Keylink systems is accurately maintained and that system functionality operates efficiently.
* Support Technical Managers, Senior Managers, and Directors with reporting, analysis, and project work as required.
* Maintain exceptional customer service standards, ensuring all quotations are completed and returned within agreed timescales.
* Conduct regular internal audits of the Technical Administration team to ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.
* Monitor and manage email enquiries, ensuring jobs are logged and allocated to the appropriate engineer.
* Provide technical and administrative support to engineers where required.
* Respond to customer and internal queries using strong product and technical knowledge.

* Previous experience in a team leadership or supervisory role.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Experience working within a customer-focused environment.
* Confidence using internal systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
* A positive attitude with a focus on delivering high standards of work and customer service.
