The Role

As a Corporate Finance Associate, you will support our Partner businesses in structuring and completing acquisitions using a range of debt and equity financing tools. You will work closely with the Lending and Partner-facing Consultancy teams to provide insight, guidance, and analysis of each Partner's financial position to support credit and equity investment decisions.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) seeking exposure within the UK financial services sector. It is suited for those looking to deepen their knowledge of debt and equity instruments.

Who We Are Looking For:

A proactive team player who enjoys working collaboratively and finding creative solutions. An excellent communicator across all levels, passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes. Highly methodical, confident negotiator capable of operating independently.

Responsibilities:

* Supporting Partner conversations around how lending and equity investments can facilitate business acquisitions and growth.
* Leading discussions on transaction affordability, providing guidance and technical analysis to structure fundable cases.
* Providing financial analysis to Partners, identifying growth opportunities, and benchmarking their business performance.
* Undertaking due diligence on Partners' succession plans and tracking their development.
* Preparing affordability assessments and cash flow forecasts for loan applications and investments.
* Analyzing financial data (accounts, bank statements, income, and expenditure) for management review.
* Summarizing financial models to assist underwriting and investment decisions.
* Assessing financial and non-financial factors to produce investment proposals for approval.
* Developing and implementing a Partner financial benchmarking tool to aid understanding of financial positions and growth opportunities.
* Knowledge of debt funding and Mergers & Acquisitions.
* Qualified in ACCA/CIMA.
* Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience interpreting company accounts within the finance industry.
* Ability to explain complex financial transactions clearly.
* Interest in continuous learning and skill development.

What’s In It for You?

We offer a discretionary annual bonus reflecting personal and company performance, 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with options to purchase additional days. Benefits include:

* Competitive parental leave (26 weeks full pay)
* Private medical insurance (optional taxable benefit)
* 10% non-contributory pension (increasing with service)

Reasonable Adjustments: We are committed to accessibility and inclusion. If you require adjustments during the recruitment process, please contact us via email. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups and those with transferable experience to apply, even if they do not meet every criterion.
