The Role
As a Corporate Finance Associate, you will support our Partner businesses in structuring and completing acquisitions using a range of debt and equity financing tools. You will work closely with the Lending and Partner-facing Consultancy teams to provide insight, guidance, and analysis of each Partner's financial position to support credit and equity investment decisions.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) seeking exposure within the UK financial services sector. It is suited for those looking to deepen their knowledge of debt and equity instruments.

Responsibilities:
* Supporting Partner conversations around how lending and equity investments can facilitate business acquisitions and growth.
* Leading discussions on transaction affordability, providing guidance and technical analysis to structure fundable cases.
* Providing financial analysis to Partners, identifying growth opportunities, and benchmarking their business performance.
* Undertaking due diligence on Partners' succession plans and tracking their development.
* Preparing affordability assessments and cash flow forecasts for loan applications and investments.
* Analyzing financial data (accounts, bank statements, income, and expenditure) for management review.
* Summarizing financial models to assist underwriting and investment decisions.
* Assessing financial and non-financial factors to produce investment proposals for approval.
* Developing and implementing a Partner financial benchmarking tool to aid understanding of financial positions and growth opportunities.
* Knowledge of debt funding and Mergers & Acquisitions.
* Qualified in ACCA/CIMA.
* Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience interpreting company accounts within the finance industry.
* Ability to explain complex financial transactions clearly.
* Interest in continuous learning and skill development.
