In your new role you’ll be responsible for repairing, rebuilding and testing all makes and models of mechanical and electronic diesel fuel injection systems. You’ll need to be a master of all, because one day you might be working on a latest generation common rail injector, the next, a vintage rebuild for a 1960’s inline pump. No two are the same. But whatever the technology, every day, you’ll need to demonstrate a passion for quality, precision workmanship and a proactive approach to problem solving, to ensure a right-first-time job, every time.

What you’ll do:

* Troubleshoot faults in a wide range of conventional and modern fuel injection systems to determine the most effective repair solution
* Repair/rebuild diesel pumps and injectors following OE-approved specifications and processes
* Perform end-of-life testing and calibration to confirm product is to OE specification
* Meet production deadlines, whilst still maintaining the highest quality standards
* Maintain accurate records including job cards, test results and quality documentation
* Adhere to all company procedures, such as health and safety, quality control and operating instructions
* Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workspace
* Drive continuous improvements in processes and workshop efficiency

What you’ll bring to this role:

* Hands-on experience as a diesel technician or engineer
* Solid understanding of all diesel fuel injection technologies: common rail, EUI, rotary, inline
* Good knowledge of Bosch, Delphi, Denso, Continental and Stanadyne systems
* Skilled in using specialist test equipment and diagnostic tool
* Ability to read and interpret diagnostic and test data
* Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively and meet targets on time
* Excellent communication skills including writing and speaking
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
* Knowledge of QHSE legislation
* Above all else, a good working attitude

What’s in it for you:

* Pension with employer contributions at 5% after 12 months
* On-the-job training and career development
Upload CV/Resume * Maximum allowed file size is 128 MB. Allowed Type(s): .pdf, .doc, .docx

By using this form you agree with the storage and handling of your data by this website. *
