We are seeking a passionate Foundation Learning Lead to provide leadership across Early Years, Progression Step 1 and 2. The successful candidate will lead high‑quality, play‑based and inclusive provision aligned to the Curriculum for Wales, ensuring strong progression, well‑being and outcomes for all pupils.
Ysgol Bro Taf, our new school in Pontypridd, opened September 2024.
Responsibilities
* Ensure consistently high standards in science teaching across Early Years and Steps 1 and 2.
* Strengthen approaches to progression and assessment to secure the best outcomes for every learner.
* Design and implement coherent science learning pathways across the 3‑16 setting.
* Model excellent classroom practice.
* Coach and support colleagues through professional dialogue and coaching.
* Use evidence‑informed approaches to assessment to drive improvement and equity.
* Collaborate within the school and across the wider education community to develop shared understanding of progression, standards and assessment practice across science.
