GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Dunscroft, providing vital support to students.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with class teachers to ensure pupils receive the best possible educational experience. You will support both whole-class learning and individual needs, creating a positive and inclusive environment that helps every child thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant:
* Provide classroom support to pupils across key stages.
* Deliver 1:1 or small group interventions to reinforce learning.
* Assist in preparing teaching resources and classroom activities.
* Encourage pupil participation and promote positive behaviour.
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to meet the needs of all learners.
* Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant (TA):
* Experience supporting children in a school setting..
* CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification (desirable).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning.
* A genuine passion for helping children succeed in education.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
