The Role
As Building Regulations Consultant, you'll be working directly with architects, design teams, and the Building Safety Regulator to ensure that projects are compliant from concept through to completion. You'll interpret legislation, review designs, and provide clear, practical advice that balances safety and innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing designs and documentation for Building Regulations compliance
Advising on the implications of the Building Safety Act
Supporting Principal Designers and project teams through Gateway submissions
Liaising with local authorities, fire safety officers, and clients
Helping shape best practice within the consultancy's compliance team

About You
You're a proactive professional who thrives on technical detail and clear communication. You'll have a solid understanding of Building Regulations, CDM, and wider safety compliance.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and compliance processes
Experience working within a consultancy or Building Control setting
NEBOSH Construction or equivalent qualification (advantageous)
Confident advising clients and coordinating across design teams
