Commissioning Engineer – Asset Intelligence

London

What you will be doing:

An opportunity has arisen for a Commissioning Engineer to join the team at Galliford Try within our Asset Intelligence Business.

Ideally, you will based in or around the London area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.


* To implement commissioning procedures.
* Develop commissioning documentation including ITPs and Commissioning Plans.
* Manage and execute commissioning activities from design phase through to final handover.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Liaise with manufactures and suppliers for system support.
* Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to align system requirements.
* Liaise with clients and attend meetings on all aspects of the projects.
* Support site acceptance testing (SAT) and performance testing.
* Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions efficiently.
* Maintain detailed commissioning records and support the creation of O&M documentation.
* Focus on health, safety, quality and environmental impact of projects.
* Mentor junior team members.

About You:

* HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
* Proven commissioning experience within live operational environments
* Sound knowledge of electrical systems.
* Strong understanding of commissioning best practice and process controls.
* Excellent troubleshooting, organisation, and communication skills.
* CSCS / ECS card holder (or equivalent).
* Confident working under CDM and safe systems of work.
* Experience and knowledge of;
* CDM Regulations
* British Standards
* IEE Wiring Regs to BS7671 18th Edition with Amendments
* A good understanding LV systems and experience of HV is an advantage
