The post holder will have a modality overview of Core Services' needs, to ensure effective co-ordination and allocation of resources. The individual will work very closely with the Core Services Superintendent radiographer, Senior radiographers and Radiographers in provision of Imaging Services at Newham site .
Thepostholderisresponsibleforprovidingsupportto,andwillformpartoftheCore Services Steam. WorkingunderCore Services Radiographerssupervisiontoprovidethehigheststandardofpatientcare.
ThepostholderwillscheduleandorganiseInpatientlistsforCore Services department,liaising with portering staff, wards and hospital clinicians to ensure that the patients are transported safelyandappropriatelytoandfromtheImagingdepartmentandthatpatientsarescheduled for the correct examination.
ThepostholderwillberesponsibleforcannulatingpatientsforCore Servicesdepartment.
ThepostholderwillberesponsiblefordailystockintheCore Services. To support in leading the technical /radiographic staffing across site and further develop an efficient Core Services at the Newham University Hospital (NUH).
