LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT Part Time or Full Time (min of 3 Days (19.5hrs) or up to 5 Days (32.5hrs) a week Hours of work 8:30 – 3:30Term Time Only Fixed Term Contract (in the first instance) Start: As Soon As Possible Salary Band C (£26,824 Pro Rata)We are looking to appoint either part time or full time Learning Support Assistants on a 1 year temporary fixed term contract until August 2026. There is the potential of extension or permanent position depending upon the operational needs of the SEND department in the future. Our Learning Support Assistants support students with a variety of needs both in and out of the classroom. This is a rewarding role that demands integrity, commitment and a good sense of humour. Previous experience is desirable but not essential. However, GCSEs (or the equivalent) at Grade C or above in English and Maths are necessary.
