The Role The successful candidate will contribute to the design, management, and delivery of structural engineering projects, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure the highest technical and quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Leading the structural design and analysis of buildings in various sectors. Using design and analysis software, including Tekla Structural Designer (TSD), Tedds, and AutoCAD, with experience in BIM (Revit) advantageous. Managing resources, budgets, and deadlines across multiple projects. Providing input on technical standards, CDM compliance, and site activities. Preparing clear and accurate design reports and documentation. Representing the company at client and project meetings. Mentoring and supporting junior team members. About You Degree (BEng, MEng, or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering. Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience in structural design. Chartered, or working towards chartership with IStructE or ICE. Strong communication and organisational skills. Proven experience managing design projects and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. Proficient in structural design software (TSD, Tedds, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office suite.
