Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings) Location: Coalville and surrounding areas Hours: School hours (Monday–Friday) About the Role: We are currently seeking a committed and patient 1:1 Tutor to support pupils across Coalville in both home and school settings. You will work with students who may need additional academic support or help re-engaging with education, including those with SEN or in alternative provision. Key Responsibilities: Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition sessions tailored to individual needs Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs Plan and adapt lessons to suit different learning styles Monitor progress and provide regular feedback Build positive relationships to encourage confidence and engagement Requirements: Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Right to work in the UK Desirable: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience with SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision Ability to teach core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science What We Offer: Flexible working during school hours Competitive pay rates Local placements within Coalville and nearby areas Ongoing support and guidance A rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s education How to Apply: If you are passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed, we would love to hear from you.
