Childrens Residential Support Worker Setting: Specialist Day and Residential Shool Location: Ribchester, Preston Contract: Temp to perm Shifts: Days, Waking Nights, Weekends Rates: Basic - £17p/h (Enhanced rates for waking nights/weekends) We are recruiting a number of Childrens Support Worker for our clients Specialist day and residential School on a temporary basis initially. Key Responsibilities: Provide daily care and support to children and young people with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. Support pupils with personal care, communication, and social skills development. Assist with educational activities, therapy sessions, and life skills programmes. Maintain accurate records and reports on pupil progress and incidents. Promote a safe, nurturing environment that encourages independence and wellbeing. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to meet individual care plans. Requirements: Previous experience supporting children or young people with autism, learning disabilities, or complex needs (desirable but not essential). Compassionate, patient, and resilient with a genuine passion for working with children. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
