We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Sustainability Tutor to join our delivery team, to deliver our new ‘Step into Sustainability’ study programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sustainability and recent experience working with young people with a range of educational needs. You should be able to evidence a strong link to or recent experience of sustainability/ environmental and/or land-based practices.
Tasks
The role involves delivering a tailored and inclusive sustainability curriculum that supports the personal development, wellbeing, and life skills of learners, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to navigate adulthood.
Requirements
Key qualification, skills and experience
* Maths and English at secondary education level or demonstrate equivalent qualifications.
* Willingness and ability to undertake a teaching or training qualification.
* Commitment to continuous professional development
* Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft word/excel/outlook/PowerPoint/databases and SharePoint
* Ability to prioritise and self-manage
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management
* Attention to detail
* Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate
