About the Role As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include: • Teaching general Science across KS3–KS4 • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote scientific understanding and curiosity • Supporting students through practical work, investigations and assessments • Helping to refine curriculum plans and departmental resources • Contributing to STEM enrichment, clubs or school events • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the caring and motivating ethos of the department • Playing an active role in the wider life of the school The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs. Experience and Qualifications • Degree in a Science-related discipline • PGCE with QTS • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science • Ability to teach KS3–KS4 confidently (KS5 desirable but not essential) • Excellent communication and classroom management skills • Commitment to inclusive, student-centred teaching Salary Paid to scale – MPS/UPS depending on experience.
