We’re looking for a Learning & Development Partner to join our People team and help shape a progressive, innovative and inclusive culture of learning across the organisation. Working closely with our Organisational Development Manager, you’ll design, deliver, and embed programmes that align with the People and Culture Strategy and support the Target Operating Model. This is an opportunity to help colleagues develop the skills and confidence they need to provide outstanding services to our residents, communities and city.
You’ll take responsibility for the full training cycle—from identifying needs, through to designing, delivering and evaluating programmes. You’ll deliver engaging workshops both face-to-face and online, and champion a culture where learning is encouraged and truly embedded. Collaboration will be at the heart of your work as you build strong relationships with managers, employees and trade unions.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the full training cycle—from identifying needs to designing, delivering and evaluating programmes.

* Build strong relationships with managers, employees and trade unions to support learning and development initiatives.
Qualifications
* Significant experience across the full training cycle.
* A proven track record of designing and delivering impactful programmes.
* Experience facilitating effective training for diverse audiences.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* A CIPD Level 5 in HR/L&D (or equivalent) or an adult learning/teaching qualification.

Details
Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week. If you have the skills and want to discuss different working patterns, please get in touch.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £37,280 - £41,771 per annum (City Pay Band 5), pro rata for part time.
Location: Flexible – on-site in Cambridge or at one of our offices, or working from home. You can balance your work location accordingly.
