Fortis Trust is seeking an exceptional Director of Educational Excellence & Improvement to join our Executive Team and provide strategic leadership for educational standards, teaching and learning, and sustained improvement across our academies and provisions.
This is a senior system‑leadership role with real scope to shape Trust‑wide strategy, quality assurance and professional development at a pivotal time in our growth.
You will:
* Lead Trust‑wide Quality Assurance and Improvement
* Champion the Fortis Framework for Excellent Practice
* Support Principals through challenge, coaching and professional development
* Lead subject and professional networks and Trust‑wide INSET
* Support Ofsted readiness, acting as Ofsted Nominee where required
* Co‑lead the PTI Primary Hub with the CEO
* Deputise for the CEO when required, providing continuity of executive leadership
We are looking for an experienced senior leader with QTS, a strong track record of raising standards, and deep expertise in curriculum, pedagogy and quality assurance. Experience of system leadership or working within a Multi‑Academy Trust is highly desirable.
