Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £80 - £90 Per day Job Duties: Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in classroom settings Assist the teacher in implementing individualised education plans for students with SEN Support students with their learning activities and help them to engage with the curriculum Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns to the teacher Work with small groups or individual students to provide additional support as needed Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN Education: Some college or vocational training in education or a related field Experience: Experience working in a classroom or educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of Special Educational Needs and how they may impact learning Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work primarily takes place in a classroom setting May involve assisting students with personal care or mobility needs Full-Time hours, temporary position with potential for extension All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
