As part of the Facilities Team, the Facilities Fire Assistant provide s essential process, analytical, and administrative support to ensure the continuous safety and maintenance of our buildings and surrounding areas. Your role will be crucial in supporting the maintenance of portable fire extinguishers as part of maintaining a safe environment for all colleagues, contractors, and visitors on site. You’ll work closely with the Facilities Manager and the Drax Fire Technician, assisting in compliance, maintenance, and coordination of essential site operations and other tasks as part of the team. Who we’re looking for : To be successful in this role you’ll be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. As a Facilities Fire Assistant, you’ll play a key role in assisting with the smooth operation of our f a cilities department. Someone with a keen interest in facilities management - basic fire regulations knowledge is a plus, but full training will be provided Tech-savviness, strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)—bonus points for experience with Maximo ! A gr eat commu nicator, both written and verbal— you’ll be engaging with teams at all levels, including our Senior Leadership Team.
