Vision for Education is seeking a flexible and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Dudley on a full-time basis.
About the Role:
1. Providing general classroom support to students aged 4 to 19 across different areas of the school.
2. Supporting a range of learning activities and assisting students with their academic, emotional, and social development.
3. Working closely with class teachers and support staff to help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. This is a varied role that will require the successful candidate to move around the school and support different classes and departments as needed.
5. Full-time position available for an immediate start, with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.

About you:
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
10. Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism, and sensory needs.
11. Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
12. Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
13. Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
