What you will do
* Look after existing customers on a day-to-day basis and be the first point of contact.
* Support the Private Banking Managers and Private Banking Directors in meeting the business set goals and objectives as well as meeting your own
* Provide AMAZEING customer service, assisting customers with their transactional requirements and queries, account opening and lending requests.
* Conducting or assist with regular client reviews.
* Liaise with other bank teams / departments as necessary to fulfil your role
* Any other duties as required that reasonably fall within the role.
* Attend client meetings and networking events (as required) either with Private Banking Directors / Managers or on your own
* Gather relevant information for credit applications and submit for approval
* Identify opportunities to grow existing customer relationships through offering further products
* Identify prospective new clients through seeking referrals from existing clients and through building your own network of introducers
* Any other duties as required that reasonably fall within the role
What you will need
* It is useful to build relationships with relevant departments, which you will be interacting with regularly such as Lending Operations, MLRO, Credit Refers and the corporate customer service centre and the Private Clients team.
* You may need to plan your work and activities with your Line Manager for prioritisation to ensure you are exceeding customer expectations and providing valuable service.
* Passionate about providing unparalleled levels of service and convenience for customers
* Promoting an innovative brand of Private Banking in the high net worth community which focuses on customer service instead of products and investments is an exciting opportunity
* How to build long term relationships with clients with a view to moving as much of their day to day banking as possible to Metro Bank
