Join the Close Brothers Team where you will work within the Senior Leadership Team to develop the ongoing business plan across the sales team, using data and insights to understand portfolio performance and plan strategy for retention and growth.
To be successful in this senior level appointment, you will have previous experience leading a sales function and providing constructive input and solutions to improve business practices and product offerings. You will be a strategic and innovative thinker with the ability to build strong working relationships and influence key stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Management and mentoring of all Heads of Sales.
* Achieve company new business lending targets for volumes from all channels.
* Provide technical product support and scenario advice to assist with conversion improvement, product knowledge and selling skills
* Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
* Assist, develop and implement annual sales plan for each region and channel.
* Provide input on competitor activity, products and market feedback.
* Provide constructive input and solutions for improving business practices and product offerings.
* Dedication to a culture of policy compliance & high ethical standards.
* Recruit, train and employ high calibre employees within budget, headcount levels and temporary resource requirements.
Developing Our People: as a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
* Excellent knowledge of finance products and policies.
* Good understanding of legislation and regulations, and an understanding of the financial services regulatory environment.
* Experience of effective people management
* Strong financial and risk acumen
* Demonstrably strong business development skills.
* Understanding of and focus on drivers of conversion rates and settlements.
* An ability to perform to a high standard under pressure.
