This role will be responsible for the effective implementation of the Health, Safety & Environment Management System in accordance with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Defining & implementing the HS&E policy & procedures to maintain ISO accreditation
* Supporting relationships & programs with customers, partners & stakeholders in matters concerning HS&E
* Devising effective change management & internal auditing processes
* Lead accident/incident investigations and define appropriate performance metrics
* Oversee and manage waste streams, emissions and energy use
* Fostering a self-managing HS&E workplace culture with clear roles and responsibilities
Requirements
* IOSH Managing Safely (willingness to work towards NEBOSH General Certificate)
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
* Familiar with incident investigation processes and root cause analysisWorking knowledge of UK H&S and environmental legislation
* Clear communicator and confident deliver training when necessary
