Duties
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with company standards.
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
* Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
* Manage cash register operations, including handling payments and giving correct change.
* Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment.
* Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
* Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and alcohol service.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Experience
* Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role is desirable.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is essential.
* Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Experience working in a restaurant or bar environment will be advantageous.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently under pressure.
