The Role
We are looking for a highly technical, detail‑oriented Technical Writer to join our marketing team. The role involves transforming complex material science information into clear, engaging, SEO‑friendly content for product catalogues, website and other marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Write and refine technical content for website, news, blog, white papers, case studies, product descriptions, and application guides.
* Optimise content for SEO to improve search rankings and visibility.
* Research and produce authoritative content that explains how specific materials benefit industries.
* Engage in online technical communities (Reddit, LinkedIn Groups) to share expertise and raise brand awareness.
* Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers to ensure scientific accuracy.
* Track industry trends to create relevant and high‑impact content.
* Support the Marketing Communications Manager at exhibitions, trade shows, and ongoing marketing activities.
* Manage social media content from live events to engage with attendees and customers.
Skills And Qualifications
* Education: Degree in a scientific field (Materials Science preferred; Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or related fields acceptable).
* Experience: 1–2 years of writing experience in a technical or scientific setting.
* Communication: Strong writing skills, ability to distill complex concepts into clear language.
* Digital Skills: Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for technical content.
* Passion: Genuine interest in online technical communities and a love for science and storytelling.
Desirable
* Experience with content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools.
* Familiarity with B2B marketing or technical sales.
* Prior exposure to materials science concepts.
