Hours: 37 hours per week (8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm Friday), term-time only, working 39 weeks per year (including Teacher Development Days).
The Role
The Corsham School Academy Group seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Pastoral Support Assistant to join the school's dedicated team of Pastoral Support. The successful applicant will provide effective and efficient pastoral support to students to promote positive attitudes to learning and behaviour that maximises achievement and wellbeing. The role is suitable for an experienced individual or someone willing to learn and develop. The post holder will work under the direction of the Pastoral Support Manager and the Deputy Headteacher responsible for pastoral support.
* Carry out induction processes for new arrivals.
* Investigate behavioural incidents, organize statements, and record them electronically.
* Support in organizing presentation evenings and monitor rewards data.
* Monitor and plan interventions based on behavioural data.
