Are you a Flight Simulator Maintenance Engineer looking to step into one of the industry's leading names taking charge of a team of engineers to work on a range of cutting-edge machinery that will help train the pilots of the future? On offer is the opportunity to work at a company on the cutting edge of simulation technology. This company has 4 simulation machines and has trained numerous pilots over the years. This company provides their staff support and has an open line of communication between management and their engineers.
In this role, you will be carrying out the day-to-day maintenance of up to 4 full flight simulators, training the junior technicians and communicating with the pilots. Performing secondary duties such as calibrations and tool inspections. Furthermore, you will be performing logistical duties, including parts received, repair and testing/validation as well as administrative tasks as required. This job entails a variable shift pattern, whether that be day or night shifts.
