Head of PPC
Salary: £65,000 – £85,000 (DOE)

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Head of PPC to lead and scale a high-performing paid search function. This is a senior leadership role, combining strategic ownership with hands-on expertise, where you’ll shape channel direction, mentor teams, and deliver measurable commercial impact for clients or the business.
You’ll be responsible for setting best-in-class PPC standards, evolving the offering, and ensuring performance keeps pace with platform innovation and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and lead the PPC function, setting strategy, standards, and best practice
* Manage, mentor, and develop PPC Managers and Executives
* Oversee large-scale PPC accounts and portfolios across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
* Drive innovation across automation, AI, scripts, and bidding strategies
* Partner with senior stakeholders to align PPC with wider performance and business goals
* Ensure forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting are commercially robust
* Lead new business pitches and support client growth opportunities
* Stay ahead of platform changes and translate them into clear strategies
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a Head of PPC or equivalent senior leadership role
* Deep technical expertise across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
* Strong people leadership and team-development experience
* Commercial mindset with experience managing significant budgets
* Confident presenting strategy and performance to senior stakeholders
* Experience scaling teams, processes, and PPC frameworks
* Agency or in-house experience welcomed
