Store Manager – Responsibilities
* Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers, handle inquiries, process reservations, and manage storage needs.
* Sales: Drive rental targets, sell products and services, implement local marketing strategies, and manage revenue.
* Operations: Oversee daily facility operations to keep it clean, secure, and well-maintained; include maintenance, pest control, landscaping, cleaning, repairs, and invoice processing.
* Security: Manage access control, monitor security systems, and ensure customer belongings safety.
* Administration: Maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Assistant Store Manager – Responsibilities
* Sales: Respond to inquiries, maintain contact with supporting organisations, and manage existing customers.
* Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service with a proactive and can-do attitude, from inquiries to reservations and storage management.
* Health & Safety: Maintain high cleanliness standards; monitor pest control, cleaning, repairs, and safety; conduct regular fire risk assessments and ensure compliance.
* Administration: Maintain accurate records, monitor rent payments and arrears, update systems, and process company information.
What We're Looking For
* Experience: Previous experience in the self-storage industry is preferable for the Store Manager role; administration experience is essential for the Assistant Store Manager role.
* Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities; ability to work independently.
* Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using management software and Microsoft Office 365; full training will be provided for the Assistant Store Manager role.
* Customer-Oriented: Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.
