Our client has a current opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team on a contract basis for approximately 3-6 months. This is a key role where your decisions and influence will shape safe working environments across live construction sites, working alongside site managers, engineers, and project teams. Youll be responsible for ensuring Health, Safety and Welfare standards are not only met but continually improved. Key duties will include: - Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations and company safety procedures - Supporting site teams in implementing RAMS, permits to work, and safe systems of work - Leading toolbox talks, safety briefings, and behavioural safety programmes - Investigating near-misses, incidents, and supporting root cause analysis - Liaising with clients, subcontractors, regulators and HSEQ teams - Tracking KPIs and compiling monthly safety reports to senior management - Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and positive safety engagement on site What Youll Need Essential Requirements: - NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) - Radiation Protection Supervisor ticket (RPS) - Contaminated Ground ticket - At least 3 years' experience in a construction or Civil Engineering environment, gained within a Consultancy or Contractor - Confidence to engage constructively with operatives, site leads and senior management - Full UK driving licence (travel to site required Desirable: - Tech IOSH or working towards Grad IOSH - First Aid at Work or Mental Health First Aider - Experience with highways, rail, or utilities projects If youre passionate about creating a culture of safety and want to work across some of the North of Scotland's most important infrastructure projects, wed love to hear from you.
