Purpose of the Role
Carnsew Quarry, part of the Colas Ltd Group, is a quarrying business near Falmouth, Cornwall. We have a permanent opening for an Administrator to join a dedicated team. We offer a competitive salary, employee benefits, and training on the weighbridge side of the role (holiday cover) along with career development opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
As an Administrator, you will work closely with team members from operators to management. Your responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering phone calls, sorting and distributing post, updating Excel spreadsheets (basic level), processing data into our in-house database, and performing general admin tasks such as filing, photocopying, and mailing.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have prior administrative experience, good communication skills, be organized, and proficient with computers. The role is during office hours, with an early start of 6:00 am for four weeks annually to cover weighbridge controller holidays.
Compensation Data
Our total compensation package includes:
* A salary of £23,900 - £27,000 per year
