Band 6 Clinical Associate in Psychology

Clinical Associate in Psychology will be supporting the delivery of psychological interventions in the Solar Core Team. As a Clinical Associate (CAP) holding appropriate level professional qualifications, you will provide highly specialist, multilevel psychology services that are timely, evidence-based, cost effective, culturally appropriate and based on best clinical and professional practice. You will support the provision of services that meet Solar service objectives, national strategic and policy guidelines, commissioner requirements and user and carer needs and expectations, helping to understand, prevent and ameliorate psychological distress and disorder and improve the mental health and wellbeing of local service users.
Main duties of the job
Clinical Service Provisions including assessment, formulation and individual and group therapy for children, young people and families within the Solar Core Team.

Person Specification
* Completed a BPS‑accredited Level 7 Clinical Associate Psychologist apprenticeship
* Near completion (within 4 months of the closing date of this post) of a Level 7 Clinical Associate Psychologist apprenticeship, with eligibility to be employed as a Band 6 Clinical Associate Psychologist
* Experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

Salary
£39,959 to £48,117 per annum, pro rata.
