The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, a people-powered business of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top motoring services for private and business drivers. Our growth presents a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our Roadside Patrol team.
As a Roadside Mechanic, you will need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving license
* Flexibility for short-notice work
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if necessary
This role involves working approximately 40 hours per week without a fixed schedule. Roster details will be provided seven days in advance, with core hours communicated three days prior. Work hours are between 0600 and 0200, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
