We are looking for a Bid Executive to join our successful Marketing and Sales team. This role is home based with some travel to the offices. Role and Responsibilities With a degree in any discipline (or equivalent professional experience), you will have at least two years’ work experience. As a Bid Executive, you will work closely with our industry experts and develop the skills needed to build a rewarding career in the Energy & Sustainability sector. The training and exposure you receive will ensure you gain knowledge of the solutions we deliver while managing all elements of the bid and proposals process. You will be part of a professional and creative Marketing and Sales department, providing direct support to the Head of Bids, Marketing Director, and Sales Director. In this fast-paced and challenging role, you will assist with the planning, development, and delivery of high-quality, engaging bids and proposals that clearly articulate the benefits of our services to clients. You will support a range of opportunities, working with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of compliant bids and proposals. This is a highly networked role that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines. Liaising with senior stakeholders, you will implement all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes. You must demonstrate strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to generate creative ideas while working both independently and collaboratively. You’ll assist in developing client-focused submissions, contribute to bid strategy, and work alongside multi-disciplinary teams. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Working with the designated bid lead to manage the preparation of bids and proposals in compliance with client requirements and internal processes. Deliver completed written responses against agreed deadlines. Re-write and edit content from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving sales, technical/product teams, finance, legal, and operations. Gather information and research on potential clients to support and develop responses, case studies, and evidence for bids and proposals. Contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of the Bid Knowledge Library. Ensure the status of all opportunities is captured and updated in the CRM system. Work with the Marketing Team to create and format content for the presentation of bids and proposals. Monitor online procurement portals for opportunities and updates. Read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties. Qualifications and Experience Requirements We are looking for individuals who have a strong grasp of English language and grammar. You will be technically minded and bring energy, commitment and drive. You will be able to produce clear and concise professional documents with excellent attention to detail. You will have ability to build strong professional relationships and will be able to work collaboratively with others throughout the organisation.
