We are supporting one of our clients in their search for an Oil Origination Analyst to support the business development activities for crude oil and oil products, based in London.

In this role you will contribute to origination initiatives, evaluate new market opportunities, and build economic models to support decision-making. In addition, you will get exposure to the full commodity trading life-cycle, with opportunities to collaborate across trading, risk, finance, operations, and compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate and model crude oil and oil product origination opportunities in line with the companys trading strategy.
* Support competitor analysis and identify potential market opportunities.
* Prepare and present business development analysis to senior management.
* Assist in negotiations and support the conclusion of commercial agreements.
Requirements
* Strong academic background (MBA/PhD a plus).
* 2+ years’ experience in oil trading, refining, crude supply, logistics optimisation, or related fields.
* Understanding of contracts and legal structures.
* Fluent in English; other languages an advantage.
