Hi are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting permanent opportunity for a well-established private sector organisation.

Payroll Administrator

Duration: Permanent

Location: Rugby/Coventry (3days office 2days remote)

Hours: Full-time (37 hours, Monday – Friday)

Rate: £30,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

1. As part of the team, process all Weekly & Monthly payroll accurately and on time, 4000 Monthly, 300 Weekly
2. Run, reconcile and post monthly/annual pension reports including processing all joiners, leavers and transfers in a timely manner.
3. P11D administration
4. Review and process daily expense reports.
5. Maintain a working knowledge of current statutory and legislative compliance, keeping abreast of all changes.
6. Ensure handling of personnel data is compliant with GDPR.
7. Liaising with HM Revenue & and third-party providers when dealing with payroll related. queries and reconciliation.
8. Ability to deal with complex payroll enquires and track customer cases to resolution or escalate when necessary.
9. Priorities and actions all daily tasks to ensure all service delivery targets are met and where possible exceeded.
10. Actively reviews existing processes and procedures and proposes any new ideas that could add value and improve the delivery of an effective and efficient service.
11. Collaborate with other parts of the business and wider HRP team.
12. Support Supervisor at meetings with divisions as required.
13. Supports strategic HRP initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

14. Good working knowledge of payroll processing procedures and legislation
15. Strong Excel skills
16. Good technical knowledge of Pension including all aspects of regulations and Auto-Enrolment.
17. Ability to communicate with both internal & external stakeholders.
18. Knowledge of MHR iTrent is desirable.
19. Good attention to detail.
20. Organisation/Time management.
21. Enthusiastic/Willing to learn.
