The Ministry of Defence employs over 50,000 Civil Servants. Within that, the Army Top Level Budget (TLB) employs over 12,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 300 locations. HQ ARRC (Allied Rapid Reaction Corps) sits within the Field (Fd) Army structure which is part of the Army a major part of the MOD.HQ ARRC provides NATO with a rapidly deployable, flexible HQ that can act as a Joint, Land or Corps HQ for operations and crisis response. Its multi-national ethos, combination of cultures and innovation, strong professional reputation in NATO and proven track record in interoperability are unique among its High Readiness Force (Land) peers.

Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding Army Headquarters working as the focal point for Civilian Workforce Services. As the Business Manager for Workforce Services the successful candidate will be an effective communicator who is confident in engaging with a range of stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
Key responsibilities of a Business Manager:
* Support to all non-military workforce resourcing matters across the ARRC (Allied Rapid Reaction Corps), supporting Civil Service Recruitment action and provision of advice and guidance to Line Managers on Civilian Policy and Process.
* Support Civil Service Workforce communication and engagement activity across ARRC including but not limited to provision of communications and coordination of annual People Survey.
* Support the Civil Service Reward and Recognition activity across ARRC, supporting reward panels and ensuring promotion of Benefits and rewards.
* Champion learning and development opportunities for the Civil Service Workforce across ARRC.
* Collaborating with other Field Army Workforce Services teams, Army TLB Civilian People Team (ACPT) and DBS Civilian HR to support workforce management activities across the BLB and wider Field Army, including delivery of change.

Essential skills required:
* Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines, demonstrating an ability to prioritise workload and work on multiple tasks at one time.
* The ability to engage and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, always maintaining professionalism.
* Be an adaptable team player, with experience of working collaboratively, but comfortable when working alone, with minimal direction.
* Have Microsoft Office experience, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable skills:
* Previous experience of working in a Human Resources or Business Management role.
