The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans
Support children with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
Assist with personal care where required
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting)
Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant – desirable but not essential)
Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
