Job summary Ensuring that recruitment meets the needs of the depots and is legally compliant and the training function meets the company standards and the criteria set down by the DSA. Responsible for ensuring the Recruitment and Training budget and all KPI targets are met. Responsible for the management of driver CPC in line with the European Directive and legislation.
Ensuring the recruitment team remain compliant with all Immigration and recruitment processes and procedures;
Compilation of monthly period report consisting of dept statistics including financials and any other area required by the Head of HR;
Ensure that a cost effective training programme is in place for all new and existing drivers;
Must hold a Management CPC qualification or willing to work towards;
Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly and at all levels;
Ability to collate and interpret statistical data;
Anunderstanding/appreciation of the service requirements and the management of day to day operational issues;
Must be a team player and willing to develop others to increase team and individual performance.
38 hours per week working Monday to Friday. Hours will involve shiftwork between 06:00 & 22:00 and there will be a requirement to work the occasional weekend on a rota basis.
